I’ve had a couple of you lovely people ask where to find some ace dresses, skirts or tops for occasions that don’t cost an arm and a leg. Although generally I do enjoy mid-range pieces there still are some KILLER brands and places to shop for an affordable piece for those events.
A new brand to me however so far I’m extremely impressed by the quality. In the photos I’m wearing their ‘Vice Dress‘ (gifted) and it’s soo comfy, soft but thick making it really flattering. It comes in about 4 colours (I’m considering the wine at the moment) and although I personally probably wouldn’t wear this to a wedding it is something I would wear to a birthday or night out with the girls. They do a really great range of more formal dresses that are BEAUTIFUL and they’re most under $200 which for the quality I think is incredible! PS – just checked the website and they’re currently having an EPIC sale.
You guys know I love IDS Fashion as their stuff does frequently pop up on my Instagram. It’s more of a basic and casual vibe however I do think tonnes of the pieces could be dressed up when paired with the right things. The Molly Ruffle Dress is one I think is an amazing piece to have in your wardrobe because with boots during the day CUTE and then with heels and a clutch amazing for an event. They’re also a really ace place to go if you’re looking for a top to go with a skirt because they have such an extensive range of really beautiful and unique tops.
The Fifth Label
I’ve been a long time lover of The Fifth and I think it’s a pretty underrated brand. It’s a very trend lead brand that pushes boundaries with epic cuts whilst also still sporting a really amazing basic range. I’ve got a few playsuits from them and they’re great unique pieces that I feel I can wear over and over. They provide a great happy medium between super cheap and mid-range but the quality is there which is always a plus.
Where are your fave place to find gorge dresses?
