Kelsey from A Balancing Peach mentioned building a grateful heart this year and I thought god I need to give that a go. Here is a one-liner for the month of February and honestly this really helped me on the darkest of days feel a bit brighter. Whether I continually share these every month I’m not sure but I have to admit it was game changing after a rocky month.
All the people involved in the wedding and the Hello May for featuring our day.
Isaac coming home.
Having a hot cup of tea in bed with my boys.
9 years later Isaac and I still don’t hate each other.
Having the willpower to stick to my skin routine and seeing the results.
Pukka Night Time Tea helping me unwind after a very mentally challenging day.
Simba’s stupid smile.
Having a good night sleep.
My Aunty’s honesty and my friend’s company.
Being able to call in sick because I have gastro and not feeling guilty about it.
Kombucha helping my gurgly tum.
That no one was hurt in a truck tipping over out of the front of our house.
All your continued support and love with my Instagram stories lately.
The sound of silence and reading a good book.
Tofu is so easy to prepare and still so tasty.
The universe providing potential opportunities when I am stressed.
Having a random day off (I always work Saturday’s) and doing nothing but read, gym and spend time with my boys.
Being in a position where we can be spontaneous and take Simba to the dog beach.
The feeling of soreness after the gym.
For writing everything out so I don’t feel as stressed.
A job trial opportunity that is in women’s fashion.
Isaac being the best listener when I’m melting down.
Gin on a bad day.
An early night and a good sleep in.
Feeling normal again, having clarity and listening to my gut.
Warm tea on a cold morning.
Exploring different options that the universe has presented me with.
Knowing I’m going to be okay.
What are you grateful for this month?
