For Isaac’s birthday this year I’d already cheated by combining his birthday AND Christmas present so I knew I couldn’t justify buying him anything off the long list I have. I asked if he wanted to dinner but instead he suggested we do a day trip to Cactus Country so that’s what we decided to do.

Most of you will know back in July we went over to Bali for the first time and LOVED it. Travel is an incredible thing – not only do you get to immerse yourself in other cultures and take in spectacular sights, it’s also a chance to sample plenty of local treats and let your hair down. Sounds amazing, right? So what’s the catch? The downside of travel is that it can interfere with daily routines, and many of the things we stick to at home tend to go out the window.
