The cold weather can really take a toll on your skin. It’s important to have a few treatments to help revive and rehydrated your skin when you’re in a pinch. Here are my top picks!
Sheet masks have made their way up my list of must-haves and now are something I’m indulging at least twice a week. The high level of concentrated goodness the sheets are soaked in make them the perfect pick-me up for your skin. Sure you may look creepy for about 20 minutes but it’s so worth it. My favourites are these two, both were PR samples that I’ve continually repurchased. The Lonvitalite C4 Coconut Milk Face Mask and the Hydraluron Moisture Boosting Mask is equally amazing - I cannot choose one over the other. Make sure to massage any residue into your skin after removal for an extra boost.
Sheet masks can get a little expensive if you’re using them quite frequently so I like to alternate in a hydrating gel mask instead from time to time. If you’re on a tight budget the Quick Fix Facial Mega Moisture Gel Mask is a must. It’s a hydrating gel with a lovely cooling effect when applied, it’s not as effective as others but if you use this more then you’ll be fine. Another mask that smells amazing and is super good at quenching the skin is the Dermalogica Skin Hydrating Masque. I like to apply this and wear it over night. Before you ask no it doesn’t get on my sheets, this absorbs into the skin like a moisturiser but it is a lovely more intense mask.
If you’re after something a little more permeant in your routine then Indeed Labs Hydraluron is a fantastic treatment. This is a thick gel, you apply before your moisturiser that essentially helps your moisturiser work better. Your skin really retains the moisturiser so much better and I’ve noticed my skin change dramatically since working this into my routine especially with skin texture.

Oh I love hydrating masks but I can’t remember the last time I used one! I’ve been more into the clarifying, mud masks lately for my breakouts. I really like asian sheet masks :)
