MAC ‘All Fired Up’ was released last year as part of some sort of matte collections (still available on the website) that had me drooling. Of course when the words MAC and limited edition are put together I’m bound to make a purchase. All Fired Up is a bright fuchsia with a matte finish that has become one of my favourite lip colours to wear night or day. The Wet N Wild Mega Last Lipstick in ‘Cherry Picking’ is one I’ve had in my collection for a long time and it’s surprisingly very close to the offering from MAC.

Although when swatched side by side the Wet N Wild lipstick appears a little more bright and maybe has more pink in it’s base, on the lips the difference is virtually undetectable. I have to say the formulation of the MAC lipstick wins hands down as the Wet N Wild can be very slippery on the lips which means it’s just not nearly as long lasting. I think if you’re after a similar colour to test before investing the MAC the more affordable one is a great option.

Have you tried either of these lipsticks? What did you think?
