This month has been a whirlwind here at More Than Adored HQ with a puppy searching, my birthday and a whole bunch of beauty launches to try we’ve been busy! If you’ve been wondering about some of the products to hit the shelves, here is the down-low about ten of the best.
Want to see more recent beauty launches? Check out more of our top picks here!
1. Sanctuary Spa White Lily & Damask Rose Body Wash
Sanctuary Spa has added two new scent lines to their one being the White Lily & Damask Rose. I was scent the body wash and it’s absolutely gorgeous. Think a really good quality rose scent that isn’t not overpowering at all. The other scent line they’ve added in is the Green Lemon & Orange Blossom which is more herbal and zesty. Not my personal fave but worth a sniff when you’re next in store.
2. Kiehl’s Super Multi-Corrective Eye-Opening Serum – say that five times fast!
If you saw this post you would’ve read about me swooning over this product. It’s fab! It’s essentially a multi-purpose serum that is perfect for anyone who wants to use an eye cream but isn’t quite there in terms of anti-aging. In the past there has been a really big gap in market for those for us who don’t need the anti-aging benefits but still want something that hydrates, firms, depuffs and brightens the area. Kiehl’s have nailed it!
3. Go-To Skincare Face Hero Facial Oil
Say hello to the best facial oil I’ve personally ever used – hands down! I have a full review of this coming up later in the week but in short it’s pretty damn amazing. If you’ve never tried a facial oil or have and didn’t like the texture I would recommend trying this. It’s oily when first applied but I promise you this sinks in like a dream so you don’t have to worry about it transferring onto your sheets. A new holy grail product for me, more details to follow Thursday!
4. Mineralogie Mai Tai Collection Pressed Eyeshadow Quad
I never ever thought a palette like this could quickly become one of my favourite palettes ever. A post I did earlier in the month shows the shadows on my eyeballs but essentially it’s just incredible for a pop of colour without being too much.
5. Laura Mercier Flawless Skin Infusion De Rose Nourishing Creme
If you’re not a fan of heavily scented products this isn’t for you. If you like gorgeous smelling products and roses then you must run to David Jones right now! This range from Laura Mercier is exclusive to David Jones but the creme is delightful. It’s the first skincare product I’ve tried from the brand and it’s nourishes the skin, leaves it looking radiant and isn’t to heavy. Definitely one for night time over during the day but a gorgeous product regardless.
6. Shu Uemura Stage Performer Glow Creator
I’m a big big fan of glowy primers particularly ones that are subtle and this fits the bill. My previous favourites are a little bit more intense however this one is as subtle as they come whilst still making a huge difference. This is a glow boosting cream you can use as a primer, in with your base product or even as a highlighter over top. A gorgeous product if you’re into naturally enhancing your complexion.
7. Trilogy Very Gentle Calming Serum
Sensitive skin and reactive skin peeps get excited because this one is for you! A gorgeous release from Trilogy is this serum that is designed to help calm the skin, reduce redness and soothe any reactions. I used this after a reaction too another cream and overnight my skin was transformed! It leaves the area feeling so smooth and totally soothed.
8. L’occitane Relaxing Pillow Mist
This is part of the new ‘Aromachologie’ range from L’occitane which is really all about using scents to help relax you. I’m a huge fan of armotheraphy and I think this range is divine however it is one for those who do adore lavender scents. Although I don’t find it overpowering enough that it gives me a headache it is quite potent. A beautiful line for gifting to others as well!
9. Rimmel Apocalips Lip Velvet Matte (pictured is Burning Lava)
I was a huge fan of the original Apocalips so the new matte range was a hit for me. There are four new shades and although they do appear relatively matte they do not set up like a typical matte lip product would. Some will see that as a negative and usually I would too BUT I wore this particular shade all day with only one touch up – it wore beautifully! I associate that setting on the lips with lasting longer but this wears fantastic so don’t be put off by that.
10. Antipodes Worship Superfruit Antioxidant Serum
As I mentioned in the ‘Brand Focus: Antipodes’ post I did earlier this week this is designed to help keep the skin looking youthful and protect it from free radical damage. My skin feels and looks more smooth and radiant since using this. It absorbs easily, smells great an overall is a great little booster too add into your routine. It’s not a holy grail product but it’s definitely a fantastic natural option.
