Have you been curious about some of the new beauty launches? From beautiful lip launches to gorgeous scents the beauty world has been busy! Here are 10 of the best from the month of February that you must check out.
We’ll get what you may find boring out of the way and Jurlique have launched the most gorgeous Clarity Hand Wash & Lotion duo that had me ridiculously excited… You know you’re old when you’re getting excited about a handcare duo. They’ve got the most gorgeous scent of lavender, patchouli and orange blossom whilst being so incredibly luxurious and hydrating – exactly what you want right? These are eye-watering expensive but for the hugmungo size of 500mL a piece they’ll last forever so there is your justification right there! If you’re like me and not a massive fan of the Aesop hand duo scent then these are fab alternative that look equally as luxe on the bathroom counter. Enough gushing over handcare and another Jurlique product that rocks is the new Jurlique Purely White Skin Brightening Night Cream which is part of their new Purely White range. This range is designed to lighten and brighten darkness, age or sun spots and hyper pigmentation. Although I haven’t noticed a dramatic difference in my skins brightness because I switch around products so often the formulation of this is worth a rave. It’s the perfect balance between being super hydrating and non-greasy so it really suits us combination/oily girls.
L’occitane have released an awesome new limited edition range called ‘Fleurs de Cerisier’ (times like these I’m glad I’m just a blogger and not on Youtube… I would’ve butchered that). It’s the most gorgeous, refreshing, light floral with a cherry blossom base. They have a few products in the range but my favourite is the eau de toilette. Speaking of primping and after one too many failed attempts at nail art and stickers my nails were looking a little worse for wear. For the later half of the month I have been exclusively using the Revitanail Whitening Glow which is pretty much good nails in a bottle. It gives the illusion that your nails are in tip top condition when really they’re a tad yellow and definitely not glamorous.
Onto the make up front there are some seriously cool products now available in Australia. The L’oreal Collection Exclusive Nudes are finally here – full review and swatches here – along with the Maybelline Color Drama Intense Velvet Lip Pencils which we’ve also all been waiting for. Hoorah! Both are exceptional lines with a gorgeous colour range, worth checking out in a 3 for 2 sale I think because there is no way you can just leave with one. Lancome have also released a new lipstick range late this month called ‘L’Absolu Rouge’ which is inspired by roses and including some heavenly shades. I have the shade Red Elegance Rose 165 and it may be my favourite red lipsticks. The range includes everything a nude peachy, fuchsia to this red – worth a sneaky look!
Australis have just revamped their primer line with repackaging and adding 2 new formulations to the line. The first is ‘Cya Later Pores’ for minimising the appearance of pores and the second is ‘Blemish Buster’ apparently to fight acne. I’m on the fence about the later claims but it is slightly green toned so it will lessen the appearance of angry spots. The pore primer is a great affordable option but not as smoothing as others. Still both are fab editions to the Australis line!
The last beauty launch I have to tell you all about is possible my fave, apart from the hand duo obviously, and it’s the Maybelline Pumped Up! Colossal Volume’ Express Waterproof. Say hello to droopy lashes new saviour! This holds a curl like no other and isn’t too much of a pain to remove. It gives copious amounts of volume without clumping and can be built up insanely well.
