We’ve all been there. Had a huge night studying or partying (or A as a result of B) waking up with horrid dark circles. Although they can’t be completely rid of there are a few products that’ll definitely help hide them.
1. Benefit Puff Off!
First off I’m not a fan of the packaging. Sure it’s cute but I find the pull off lid, that Benefit have favoured over a twist top, incredibly annoying. The metal tip makes appealing this product so refreshing and cooling but the best part is the formulation. It’s slightly peach-toned with loads of light reflecting particles meaning it’s going to really brighten and depuff before you even get started on your make up.
2. Kiehl’s Super Multi-Corrective Eye-Opening Serum
I have spoken about this one before here and I think it’s just an overall awesome eye cream. It brightens, depuffs and moisturisers amazingly. In comparison to the Benefit one it’s not as brightening however it does provide more moisture which means I do favour this one for my dry eye area. If you need the extra brightening go the Benefit!
3. Laura Mercier Secret Camoflauge Concealer
As you can see this is a very well loved product and I know some of you are going to scold me for recommending such a dry concealer for underneath the eyes but it does work. The peach tone is what I use under my eyes because it cancels out those blue tones. Warming the product between the fingers then applying it is what works best and small tapping motions to work it in. I would never try to apply this one with a brush because it is so dry. This provides some serious coverage and lasts all day so it’s one to look into if you can’t find anything that works for you.
4. Origins Plantscription Anti-Aging Concealer
This is what I like to layer on top of the peach coloured concealer. It’s a very creamy product, very pigmented and easily my favourite concealer of all time. I apply a little of this under each eye then blend out with a small concealer brush. If you don’t have time to fiddle around with something like the Laura Mercier then applying a little extra concealer along with your foundation will still make a difference.
5. Laura Secret Brightening Powder
I haven’t had this for very long and I mentioned already last week but it’s incredible. It sets everything in place with a super silky finish to the skin. The tiny shimmer particles add more subtle brightness as well. SO in love with this powder for setting under the eyes - a must try!

I love Benefits Erase Paste to hide dark circles. The peach undertones really help to cancel out the blue and green hues of a bad nights sleep!

I would love to try Benefit’s Puff Off, it sounds amazing, I swatched it in store and fell in love, just haven’t gotten round to picking one up yet. The origins concealer sounds great, will definitely take a look at that next time I’m in store! x

Yes! The Origins concealer is amazing. I absolutely love the Puff Off too - such a great brightening product x
Im not too sure about Benefits Puff Off as it sounds alot like Cliniques Even Better Eyes?
Ive been loving Laura Mercier lately so would love to get my hands on that brightening powder. Her radiance primer works wonders.
It might be! I haven’t tried the Clinique so I can’t compare. Ah LM radiance primer is a fave for me as well :) x
I really want to try the Laura Mercier Secret Camoflauge concealer, however I’m worried it sounds too dry for me? I’ve just started using the Bobbi Brown Corrector for my dark circles and it’s the best my under eye area has ever looked!
Di from Max The Unicorn
It is fairly dry…. I would say test it in store and see what you think! The Bobbi Brown is alot creamier and if you’re loving that the LM might not be the right texture for you :) see how you go though!
The Laura Mercier brightening power is a miracle worker! I also love the Napoleon Perdis ‘the one’ concealer, its my secret weapon to covering my seriously dark circles!
Oooooo I’ll have to check that one out!!! xx
Great tips! The origins concealer sounds great, I agree with you about the puff off. I think it’s good but a bit over hyped :)

Oooooo I may have to swatch that next time I’m near a counter :)
I was looking for an under eye Concealer when I found it, the girl at Mecca had the same issues as I do so she put it on me and yeah, I was pleasantly surprised. Definitely give it a go.

Annabel ♥
Mascara & Maltesers
YES! They’re soooo worth it :) x
I need some of these after this week! I’ve been doing mini eye masks with Benefit It’s Potent to depuff my eyes. Seems to be working but I still look tired af!
Kate | themintedbeauty.com
That’s a good idea! I haven’t tried doing that xD
Concealers are my weakness! The Laura Mercier one sounds amazing! Strangely enough, I usually don’t cover my under-eyes because I’m too lazy and just conceal my blemishes lol.
Sheri | Behind The Frames
Lol day-to-day I sometimes do that - depends how bad the situation is :P
I have the Puff Off and find that I hate the cap as well.. because if you accidentally try to twist it off, it can ruin your product! So annoying! But packaging aside, it is a god-send! I’ll have to try the others you’ve recommended as well now! :D
