Napoleon Perdis is a typical go-to brand for alot of people but not one I’d ever ventured out to try. When a bunch of NP products landed at the MTA office there was a load of squealing with excitement! I now understand why people speak so highly of the brand.
The Camera Finish Close-up Complexion Perfecting Powder (phew!) is a pressed translucent powder designed to create a blurred finish so fine lines and pores are less visible as well as mattify the skin. I find this finely milled powder a dream to apply and it doesn’t cause any caking - the perfect way to finish off your base. I don’t see a dramatic difference in blurring of the skin because I feel as though my other base products do most of that. It leaves the skin feeling silky soft and you really can’t apply too much so it’s a perfect grab-and-go product for the make up bag.
The Super Lips Lipstick in ‘Destiny‘ is incredible and definitely my kinda shade. It’s creamy to apply but has an almost-matte finish so it’s long lasting throughout the day. The packaging is luxe and I can’t fault the lipstick itself - I would 100% buy more of these! Speaking of luxe packaging the Metallic Multi-Purpose Illuminator is gorgeous. The golden champagne is stunning all over the lid or a tiny amount on the high points of the face. It is a warmer highlight so very pale skin tones may prefer to just use it over the lids but if you’re a medium-dark skinned this would be amazing. It’s very very pigmented, soft and blendable but does require a primer underneath and a bit of a translucent powder or powder shadow on top to set it in place.

Thanks lovely lady xx
It’s a little embarrassing as an Australian to not have tried anything from napoleon perdis. I have had my makeup done by a mua for a wedding as she used NP products and the result was gorgeous and so long lasting. I really should give it a go one of these days x

It’s STUNNING!
These sound great, and I admit, Napoleon Perdis is a brand I often overlook as well. It’s a bit pricey for me, but my that lipstick is just gorgeous!

It is a little pricey but I wouldn’t mind trying some of their base products as that’s what I’m more likely to invest in! May have to see if I can get some samples from a counter :P
