Another month done and some killer beauty launches have hit the market that I’m SUPER excited about. Some amazing nails, scents and hair bits – hide your wallets before reading!
1. Toni & Guy Classic Dry Shampoo
A new addition to the Toni & Guy line up and it’s fairly comparable to the original formulation however you do get a little bit more grip. This is one I would reserve for hairstyling over refreshing because it gives more texture and definition to the hair. I don’t know whether this would ever replace a regular refreshing dry shampoo for me but it is a good medium between a texturising spray and dry shampoo so you do get the best of both worlds with this one.
2. See By Chloe Si Belle
This limited edition scent is a gorgeous fresh floral that has a really lovely musky base. I’ve never sniffed nor worn a Chloe fragrance before so I’ve been really impressed by the flirty nature that still remains really classy. It has neroli, gardenia, orange blossom and musk in but it’s definitely one to sniff next time you’re near a counter.
3. Orly Adrenaline Rush Collection
I‘m usually a strictly pastel or creamy coloured gal when it comes to nails however there is something about a neon nail I just can’t say no too. I spoke more about my love for Orly and their neon shades here but this collection boasts super cool colours. The pink ‘Risky Behaviour’ has me feeling like barbie and forever stopping for a good admire!
4. Kevin Murphy Un.Tangled Leave In Conditioner
Say hello to your do-it-all spray that actually works. My hairdresser used this on my hair at my last appointment and it’s the product I’ve been thinking about ever since. It smells like musk sticks, nostalgia with every spray, and literally does everything you need an after shower spray to do. It further conditions the hair AND detangles effectively as well as acting as a heat protectant. It’s easily my favourite release from the month and has made brushing my hair so much easier!
5. Kiehl’s Clearly Corrective Dark Circle Perfector
A product I spoke about in lasts weeks ‘This Weeks More Than Adored’ but a fab new release from Kiehl’s this month. Every time I try a Kiehl’s product I’m impressed and this eye cream has really filled a void in my morning routine. Not only does this contain SPF but it also is tinted so it brightens whilst providing a little coverage. If you’re like me and don’t have really problematic dark circles this is a perfect substitute to a concealer. Have super dark circles? This would be perfect for layering underneath any correctors. Win, win!
6. Rimmel 60 Second Polishes NEW Shades
I’m a big fan of affordable nail polishes and the Rimmel 60 Second range is one I’ve always loved. This month they’ve released some gorgeous new shades including a bunch of creamy pastels that were calling my name. This weeks nail post will showcase my top pick ‘Breakfast in Bed’ and I’ll chat about the other shades that are new so keep your eyes peeled for that on Sunday.
7. Marc Jacobs Mod Nior
If you’re a fan of MJ then hold onto your seats because this is an insanely good scent. It’s an exclusive product to Sephora (which kind of bums me out) and it very much reminds me of my favourite MJ scent Honey. I find Mod Nior less floral and more of a warm, sophisticated scent. In the scent description they say it’s more green but I find it more creamy? Anyway if you have Honey I don’t think it’s a MUST but if you don’t and are looking for a really gorgeous winter scent this is a great one.
8. Covergirl Hello Gorgeous Foundation
You guys are going crazy over this new foundation from Covergirl and I promise I will do a review ASAP. For now I can say it is worth the hype if you have oily skin but dry skin gals are probably best to steer clear. It’s very prone to clinging to dry patches and any sort of dehydration you may have! Review coming next week.
9. Maxfactor 3-in-1 Masterpiece Glamour Extensions Volumising Mascara
Maxfactor mascaras are some of the best on the market in Australia in my opinion and this is the latest to hit the shelves. The original Maxfactor Masterpiece is one of my favourites that I’ve been using religiously the past few months and this one has the same brush but the formulation contains little fibres for extra length. It’s a good mascara if you’re looking for a lengthening one but honestly I don’t need anymore length so I’ll stick to the original! It doesn’t have any sort of fallout, smudging or fibres falling in your eye happening though so it’s great.
10. Goodness Organic Chia Seed Oil
Honing in on that superfood trend the brand goodness has released some skincare containing natural ingredients like chia seeds. Although slightly gimmicky and very trendy the oil is my pick from the range producing similar results to your rosehip oils with less of an oily finish on the skin. If you’re after something with less of an oily feel on the skin this is a great option.
11. L’oreal Paris Color Riche Red Collection
I’ve done a full review with loads of swatches here for these bad boys but a fantastic collection to launch into the pharmacy regardless. Each shade is unique and I do think that almost everyone will be able to find a red they love within the collection!
