Waterproof mascara is sometimes the only option if you have stubborn droopy lashes like me. It’s fair to say that a regular mascara does only one thing for my temperamental lashes and that’s coat them! If you’re anything like me and on the hunt for a fab waterproof mascara then here are three awesome options.
L’oreal Butterfly Wings Mascara Waterproof
This guy received alot of exposure last year when released for the unique wand. It’s a plastic bristle brush with a curve and tapered bristles. Although it’s a little hard to get used to because of the unique design it does give the lashes alot of length and definition. It doesn’t give a great amount of volume and can flake throughout the day after about a month of use which is annoying.
Maybelline Show Off Mascara Waterproof
I a huge fan of this one even though there are some pretty obvious flaws. First off the brush is HUGE and completely impractical when you have hooded eyes… Get ready to be cleaning it up pretty often. It also is a fairly dry formulation which means it dried out fairly quickly. The way this makes your lashes look is INSANE. It gives so much volume, hold and length without being too clumpy - amazing! Definitely worth checking out if you like a dramatic lash without wearing false eye lashes.
L’oreal Telescopic Mascara Waterproof
Say hello to the most prettiest, fluttery lashes ever! This gives you so much definition without distributing too much product onto your lashes. It does mean you have to really take your time to build it up if you want a super dramatic lash but if you’re really beautiful fluttery lash this one is for you.
