One thing you guys went bananas for over on Instagram is this Cold Shoulder Ruffle Top so I thought I’d share with you a little post about the outfit so it’s all in one place.

As you guys know I do a little work with Shein and when they asked me to choose out an item I decided to go for something different. The dramatic ruffles and cold shoulder on this top is completely different for my usual style. Although it’s black the ruffles are a little ‘much’ even for someone who likes to try new trends when it comes to fashion! I was pleasantly surprised that the cut of this Contrast Trim Cold Shoulder Ruffle Top is so flattering and rakes in the compliments with so many people asking me where it’s from in real life AND the internet (that’s when you know it’s good). The best part is it’s only $12.99!!! The quality isn’t amazing however for a trend piece that I don’t see myself loving in two years time I’m totally okay with that.

With the dramatic sleeves I wanted to keep the rest of my outfit understated because this was a work outfit. I teamed it with this awesome Little Lies Cotton Midi Skirt that I’m totally obsessed with and so glad I bought. When in doubt I go-to this skirt and it’s just so comfy for everyday wear. On my feet I’m wearing my trusty Solsana Melody Boots and my bag is Betts Tote Bag.

The cold shoulder is absolutely everywhere at the moment and more often than not you can find a hybrid with tops, like this one, also incorporating the ruffle trend as well. I’ve linked below some awesome options that I’m loving so be sure to have a peep. I think the best thing about the cold shoulder is that it’s WAY more practical than off the shoulder especially if you’re dressing for a job where you’re forever reaching up and down like me!
