5 SUMMER NAIL COLOURS THAT ROCK

5-summer-polishes-to-try

Summer is the season I like to play around with nail colour. I don’t know what it is but the vibrant hues with a tan get me so excited and it’s fun! Here are some of my picks for this summer season.

If you haven’t tried the Crabtree and Evelyn Nail Lacquers you’re really missing out because the colours are gorgeous with an epic formulation to match. The top of the bottle, the shape of that, can make it a bit awkward during application but the formulation is fantastic to work with so I’ve been super impressed with the brands new addition. Poppy and Mint are my colour choices with Poppy being a bright pink with a hint of coral and Mint being that insanely gorgeous pastel shade we’re all obsessed with.

I had a hefty parcel from L’oreal arrival that included some of the range for spring/summer and I pulled out these two colours straight away dying to get them on my nails. The first is the L’oreal Colour Riche Nail Varnish in Cloud Wow which is the type of ‘is it blue, is it purple, but it’s so bright’ shade you’ll spot on my nails very frequently. If you’re a long time reader of MTA you’ll know I’m a huge fan of this nail nail because of the awesome formula, dinky size of the bottle and the fact that they’re so affordable with seasonal on trend colours. It’s a range to check out if you haven’t already. From Maybelline’s new ‘Blushed Nudes’ collection I’m really enjoying ‘Crimson Flush’. The formulation isn’t amazing but it does offer a unique take on a fresh deep colour for Spring (if that makes any sense!). The colour is gorgeous but be warned it does take two or three layers for optimal opaqueness.

Last up of course if an offering from Essie. I’m unsure if this was limited edition or not (sorry in advance if it is) and it’s the shade ‘Peach Side Babe’. What a cool shade! It’s the perfect bight coral colour that leans a little bit more orange. If you’re looking for a shade to make you even more tan this is for you!

Ah the joys of fruity, fun summer colours on the nails! All those colours would be something I would chose too! I love a good orangey-apricot shade in summer!
