Never did I ever think I would be wearing a pair of culottes. EVER. As my style evolves and so does my need to be comfortable all the time went on the hunt to find an ace pair of culottes and here is what I found.
Like with most new clothing styles it’s always best to try things on and that I did. I started off with a few different pairs that were ranging from $120-$200 in various different colours and materials. What is super hard about culottes is the materials really do impact the way they look, obviously, and I knew I didn’t want the work-wear-off-duty-kinda-formal vibe because that’s not me. In the end I knew I was looking for something a little cropped because I found that the most flattering and also either black or a neutral print of some sort.
If you spotted my Asos Haul earlier this week you’ll know I ordered these Asos Knitted Culottes as well as a check pair but settled on keeping just these for now. I was super stoked because the price point is under $70 so if I don’t get the wear out of them I’m not going to be super upset. They are everything I was looking – cropped at just the right length, textured cotton so super casual and they are wide leg whilst still giving the leg shape which I love.
I cannot recommend them enough!
What I’m wearing: Asos Knitted Culottes | FallenBROKENstreet ‘The Campaign’ Hat (borrowed) | Somedays Lovin’ Round Sunglasses | Ebay Tee (wouldn’t recommend the seller but easy enough to find) | Rebecca Minkoff Wave Embossed Mini Perry | Mac Lady Danger | Sol Sana Boots (not current)
