The thing about gingham is that it really is so flipping easy to wear. It looks fab as the stand out piece but also mixed with other prints. Plus if you’re a fan of neutral palettes it means you’re able to really mix up your look without straying from a subtle palette.

In case you’re not getting my drift. I’m a big fan.

When I spotted this Eva Gingham Tie Cuff Duster (currently on sale for $28!) I knew it was going to be such a versatile piece that will take them through the spring time. I have to admit it isn’t the nicest material ever BUT I knew given the price it wasn’t going to be incredible and I also don’t see this being a forever piece in my wardrobe. It’s just a good, fun way of incorporating a trend piece into your wardrobe.

I’ve teamed it with these cool Hannah Slim Fit Pearl Detail Mom Jeans (currently on sale for $26!) which reminded me of a Zara version I saw not too long ago. They are a stiff denim so if you’re in-between sizes I recommend going up! I love the way they’re still skinnier on the leg but still have the realised 90’s mom vibe. The pearls are just another cool element to add to the outfit!

I’ve also rounded up 10 of my absolute favourite gingham pieces below for you guys! All are super affordable and I know you’re going to love them.

Argh I’ve wanted the Asos skirt in the second row for a month now and it keeps being out of stock! I ordered a similar one but with ruffles from Asos instead and it just wasn’t right so I returned it. That playsuit in the first row is also adorable. I’ve always loved gingham, and a pair of gingham pants I missed out on from Cue a few years ago have always haunted me!!

I’ve been such a fan of gingham for so many years, so I’m really glad it’s made a comeback because it’s made cute gingham pieces really easy to find. I’ve amassed quite a few in my time but it’s always nice to have a bit of a refresh and replace some older things that have gotten a bit worn out or that I’m not that into anymore.
