Working out at home is what suits some people best. It can be more convenient and sometimes, it’s just nice to have your own space to do your own thing. Here are a few tips on how to kick-ass at working out at home.
- if you have to have a snack first! Hangry peeps never workout well.
- know what you’re going to do before the day.
- seek out Youtube videos for quick, targeted work out routines. Blogilates is a great one!
- create an awesome playlist.
- take the time to create and memorise a few different go-to routines.
- improvise. Not having the equipment = substitute for another similar exercise not skipping it.
- mix it up! Keep it interesting.
- don’t rush. You’re at home so take the time to do a great, challenging routine.
- remember to push yourself! You maybe alone but you won’t see results if you don’t push.

I can’t go without one if I’m working out in the morning :P
I always workout at home! Blogilates is amazing, I also use circuit training apps which really help me tone up! Great post!

Ooo I’ll have to check out those apps. Do you have a fave? x
I use 7 minute workout as you have the option to increase the circuits. I usually do cardio for a bit then do two circuits of the 7 minute workout :) x
I really really dislike exercise lol I try so hard to get out of it! My hubby always ‘reminds’ me each day I’ve missed out on it. Otherwise, when I do workout, I like some good tunes and lots of water!

I don’t really like exercise too but I’m slowly getting into it.. It’s taken a long time x
That’s the problem for working out at home for me, I have no motivation xD And I tend to give up really easily (due to zilch stamina) haha. Blogilates is great, but her routines KILL MEEE. (I think I need to start with some kids workout routines or something)

I LOVE her routines. They’re so so so quick but like you said KILL you. Haha just do half then have a lay down ;P
I’m an enormous fan of exercising at home - mostly because I’m too lazy to leave the house, and I hate paying gym fees. I’m halfway through the Blogilates beginner calendar (for the second time!) but also love the free workouts on Fitness Blender for something different :)

Yep I’m the same! I haven’t done the Beginner Calendar but I’ve been thinking about it.. Usually I just do a few different targeted workouts from her. Would you recommend the beginner calendar? x
Oooh I’m going to give Blogilates a go! I bought a few sports clothes on Boohoo today to hopefully motivate me to work out more haha. :)

Haha well you always need more workout gear ;P
I much prefer working out before because I can just walk downstairs, get started and have no other people around me! I love using YouTube videos and fitness DVDs :)

Tried to delete this above comment because I’d written “before” instead of “at home” but it hasn’t deleted, haha sorry!
No worries lovely! xo
