THIS WEEKS MORE THAN ADORED #26

this-weeks-more-than-adored-26

This week has been a work crazy one and I’m so glad it’s the weekend. We’re currently baking up a storm and trying some exciting DIY stuff for the lifestyle section – cannot wait to share. Thank you for all the support with the trial of 6pm EST posts going live too!

I’ve been taking my time with my make up lately and really enjoying do a bit of eyeliner! I didn’t have any gel eyeliners I love so I decided to try the Rimmel Scandaleyes Gel Eyeliner which is really great. It’s super black, long-lasting and doesn’t smudge or transfer at all. Too apply that I’ve been adoring the Laura Mercier Eyeliner Brush – what an incredible brush! It makes linking the upper lashes incredibly easy. I’ve been teaming that with a good coat of the Maybelline Volum’ Express Pumped Up! Mascara Waterproof which is amazing for lots of volume without any clumping. This gives super intense lashes, I love that, but some may find it a little too much for everyday. This brush is a little big and formulation is drier but I love that and find it easier to work with…

I’ve also been opting for a fuller coverage foundation just before my skin has been breaking out and it makes me feel more confident knowing my complexion is looking glowy. The Laura Mercier Silk Creme Foundation is still my ultimate favourite full coverage foundation and it’s been on my daily rotation all week.

Onto some random bits and the Seven Wonders Moroccan Argan Oil Dry Shampoo has been my dry shampoo of choice at the moment. I’m not very familiar with this brand but essentially the product is infused with oils so it won’t dry out your hair. I do think it doesn’t feel like it does throughout the roots compared to other dry shampoos and I like it. It does spray fairly white so you do need to work it in fairly well! The last product that everyone needs to run out and buy is the amazing St.Tropez Prep & Maintain Tan Enhancing Scrub. This is only $20 and will make your tan apply and last sooo much longer. I used this and my tan lasted 3 extra days then it usually would. This just preps the skin and doesn’t contain any ingredients that leave a film on the skin so you tan applies evenly. I will say it can feel a little drying but that’s because it’s very scrubby and doesn’t leave anything behind!

I got a sample of the Palmer’s Cocoa Butter BB Cream and I was so surprised that I enjoyed it so I wore it every day to work!

Hmmm yes and no! The St.Tropez Express Tan is my absolute fave because you can wash it off after an hour and still get a great colour whereas most are 8 hour developing times… I hate sleeping in tanning products so I always look for ones that have a super fast developing time. I usually pop it on as soon as I get home from work and then wash it off after I’ve finished making dinner so it’s not too much of a pain :) x
