With the cooler months well and truly settling in we’ve been trying out loads of different darker hues on our nails. If you’re feeling like a bit of a colour change with the season here are our top picks.
At the top of the list Orly Laquers have me staring at my nails all day long. The formulation is pigmented and opaque within one swipe plus they have incredible lasting power which is very important for me. The shades Ruby (a deep berry) and Country Club Khaki (muted dark nude) are both gorgeous.
If you’re looking for something a little more from the taupe side of things Maybelline Super Stay Gel Nail Color in ‘Mauve On’ and Revitanail Triple Strength Polish in ‘Graphite’ are both stunning. The Revitanail is great for anyone who has weak nails as specifically formulated for brittle nails.
A fun combination, and something a little different to your typical ‘winter polish’, is the Natio Nail Colour in ‘Denim’ - hello amazing blue you are beautiful. This is the perfect blue polish because it’s still bright but nothing too intense. I love teaming that (or any of these shades!) with the Sally Hansen Miracle Gel in ‘Game of Chromes’ for a fun accent nail. It’s a gorgeous metallic and if I had the patience I would paint all my fingers and toes in it!
