THIS WEEKS MORE THAN ADORED #40

What a cold, dreary week but luckily there have been some awesome discoveries on the beauty front. I hope you all have a lovely weekend!

For skincare I just want to quickly shout out the amazing La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo+ for keeping my skin in check. I’ve been applying it mainly on my chin to keep breakouts to a mimunal and oh my god it’s love. If you need something gentle that’ll keep breakouts contained and help soothe the area this stuff is for you. I know I’m spoken about it many times but it really is a staple product that I believe everyone should have. Another quick shout out has to go to the gorgeous Essence blushes! I LOVE them and the Essence Blush in Adorable is the best blush shade ever. You need it! You’ve probably seen and heard all about the Benefit They’re Real Mascara in Brown as part of their new collection of coloured liners and mascaras but I’m really enjoying the softness of the brown for everyday. I think if you’re fair, pale or just want a break from the harshness of black this is a really great option.

Have you ever changed something in your routine and then wondered where that products has been all your life? That is how I feel about the Laura Mercier Bonne Mine Stick in Bronze Glow! It’s a bronzing cream stick that I use on my cheeks to slightly contour (nothing crazy happens here) and it just makes me feel more confident. It adds a beautiful glow, a little definition to the face and a gorgeous bronze shade that isn’t too orange or warm for my pale skin. It’s amazing and everyone should try it! Oh AND it’s only $30!

Over on snapchat (add ‘morethanadored’ for loads of behind the scenes pictures) and on Instagram I showed a very generous package I received from Maybelline. One of the products included was the Maybelline Hyper Sharp Liner. If you’ve been reading MTA for a while you probably know I prefer gel liner but the thin brush tip on this is just AWESOME and I really love how much control you get with the length of it. When you turn the brush onto the side it’s a little thicker too so it’s super easy to customise the thickness of the line you get.

Laura Mercier makes fantastic make up – I should try out that bronzer stick. Contouring is so much easier with a stick than faffing around with powders and brushes and making sure it stays where you want it to! I’ve been loving my new phone (finally!) though it’s not a beauty item.

You’ve got me sold on the Maybelline Hyper Sharp Liner! Haven’t been impressed with much drugstore liners lately so would be keen on trying that. And how do I not own more essence blushes?? I love the one I own, and Adorable looks like a fab shade x
