1.Essence Sheer Lip Balms in 01 Pretty Girl or 02 Live, Laugh, Love & Repeat
I don’t like Essence collections generally but these lip colours from the latest collection are actually amazing! In summer I like to opt for something a little lighter on the lips and this just really hits the nail on the head. It’s super lightweight, comfortable and easy to reapply!
2.Rimmel London Kate Super Gel
Brand new on the shelves is a new addition too the Kate Moss line. I’m a huge fan of Rimmel nail products and when I heard these were being released I couldn’t wait. Now the colour of nail polish that was scent over isn’t my usual choice and formulation of this one is fairly sheer so it’s not one I’d recommend but the top coat is awesome! If you’re a fan of the Sally Hansen Miracle Gel you’ll love this. It’s quick drying, super glossy and the brush is on point.

3.Rimmel Moisture Renew Transparent Lip Liner
This was released around the same time as the nude lipstick collection came out earlier this year and I pushed it too the side because I didn’t think it was going to be anything special. I was so wrong. This looks scary in the tube but when you apply it it’s literally completely transparent on the lips! It’s an amazing product for lining the lips and preventing products from bleeding out especially if you don’t have a lip liner to match the lipstick or you don’t want to change the colour of the product you’re applying by applying a lipliner.

4. Artiste Brush Cleaner
This is what I use to spot clean mainly my eye brushes because it’s so convenient and fast drying. It’s super important to keep brushes clean and sanitary so this is one that you can use, wait 10 minute then use your brushes. It does have a strong vanilla/alcohol scent which is a draw back but overall it’s really great for eye brushes and anything smaller. If you’re after a spot cleaner for large, dense brushes this probably isn’t the one for you.

Is it just me or is the drugstore stepping it up lately? I have been SO impressed with drugstore releases lately. I feel like they are really getting with the trends. That makeup brush cleaner looks really great I definitely need something like that. I’ll use purple one day then forget and end up with purple shadow all over…
