Happy Hump Day! As we come into the later half of the week we can see that long weekend approaching… Am I right? If you’re anything like me long weekends are for pampering and chilling out so here is a guide to creating a seriously awesome pamper evening this weekend.

For bath products I’m still well and truly on the Lush band wagon and with their newest bath bombs it’s a little hard to stray. The scent and killer show the ‘Intergalactic’ bath bomb puts on it’s a bit of fun but of course, it leaves your skin feeling and smelling amazing. Whilst in the bath a face and hair mask is a must. Nioxin is a brand I’d never heard of until this landed in the office. It’s their Intensive Treatment that is designed to help strength the hair. After using almost the whole tube all I can say is that it detangles like a dream and leaves your locks feeling so super soft! In the bath sometimes is easy to forget about cleansing the face but using something like the Foreo Luna Cleansing Device with your favourite cleanser will leave your skin feeling amazing!

Moving onto face masks and I’m loving multi-masking with the Dermalogica Charcoal Rescue Masque down the centre of my face then the Sisley Black Rose Cream Mask around the outer portion to help really plump and hydrate. It’s a great combination to detoxify the centre of the face and then ensure the outer portion, where I’m typically dry, isn’t left neglected either. If my skin is feeling texturally off or super dry I’ll always start with the Cup O’Coffee mask from Lush which helps to scrub away any dry patches first… It’s a step I don’t always do but sometimes when the skin needs a little TLC it’s a great one to use.

Out of the bath it’s always relaxing to use some super moisturising products. One thing I always forget to do as much as I should is take care of my hands and feet so when I have pamper evenings it’s something I always do. The latest hand combo I’ve been using is the Golden Handshake Hot Hand Mask from Lush and it smells amazing! It does leave your hands feeling pretty soft and lovely afterwards but I always follow it up with a hand cream like the Jurlique Rose Hand Cream. For feet I love the Pink Peppermint Foot Lotion because it’s minty without being OTT… Don’t forget to slide into some socks for extra moisturising benefits!

Last up I have to talk about the Organic Coconut Beach Road Naturals Body Oil. It’s a gorgeous blend of coconut, jojoba, macadamia and almond oil as well as vitamin E. Seriously everyone needs this in their lives!!! The spray makes for easy application and it is so moisturising! Isaac and Simba both love it too :P

I’m not really a huge fan of taking baths but I do love Lush in general, they have some amazing shower gels especially that I love to use whenever I’m doing a pamper night. The combo of having a warm shower, using a really lovely shower gel and then moisturising using something luxurious is so perfect for a pamper night!

I never used to be but now I’m getting back into reading books I’m trying to make an effort to do it once or twice a week :)

You can’t beat a good bath bomb/bubble bath and a face mask in my opinion! I used to have them all the time but haven’t really had the time to lately, but if I can fit it in I might have one this afternoon. They’re the perfect way to just have half an hour or so to yourself and recharge a bit.

Exactly right! I try to always have one on Sunday but lately I’ve been too hungover and the thought of a hot bath kills me a little inside haha!
