Can you believe it’s so close to December? I feel as though we’ve blinked and that’s happened!

We’ve had a bit of hot weather finally which has been amazing. I didn’t think I enjoyed the heat but this year I’m really enjoying it – maybe that’s just because it has been so delayed this year though. As I’ve spoken about before I’m not spending this Christmas with my family so, as you’re reading this actually, we are doing an early Christmas this weekend. It’s been bittersweet having to be organised enough to buy everyone a present so early but the plus is that Isaac and I put our Christmas trip up over a week ago. One of my favourite things about Christmas is having all the present wrapped underneath the tree! This year I was just going to go brown kraft paper with some pretty ribbon but that was until I spotted Inky Co online and I couldn’t go past the cool designs. I opted for four rolls of neutral paper so if we have any left over we are able to use it throughout the year. Honestly if you’re looking for awesome Christmas or other wrapping paper check out Inky Co!! They have so many awesome options.

Last weekend we went home for a family get together on Isaac’s side (it really is that time of year isn’t it?!) and it was so good just to chill with family. As you guys know on Isaac’s side there are 3 new babies this year so it was completely different to the usual get togethers but still really fun. Another exciting thing happened while we were home – the last of Isaac’s brothers got engaged. It was so cool to be all home and celebrate with them. Then when we got back to Bendigo I caught up with a friend and she is pregnant! INSANE! So freakin’ cool and I just feel so bloody happy for the people in our lives being so happy. It’s ridiculously cool.

On the subject of exciting things – we booked our honeymoon! Completely spontaneous and not what we’d originally thought we were going to do BUT an awesome deal came up on Luxury Escapes so we bit the bullet and just went for it. We aren’t going overseas as originally planned but instead jetting up too Port Douglas for 5 nights. I think it’s a good balance for us because it’s not super expensive but it’ll still be a good break. I won’t share where we are staying just incase it’s shit but I’ll of course be sharing so many wedding/honeymoon posts afterwards and I’ll talk about it then. We weren’t sure if we’d be able to afford a honeymoon, I’m still not convinced we can, but hey it’s done now and we’ll see how we go – I’m sure it’ll all work out!!

PS: in December I’ll be vlogging on snapchat – add ‘morethanadored’ – AND I will also be uploading daily outfit photos on Instagram so follow me over there too @morethanadored.
I’m super excited about the challenge so I’d love for you too support both!

ooo, pretty, I am really loving non Christmas themed paper this year. Mostly because you can then reuse it. And because majority of Christmas themed wrapping paper is super tacky.
I know a few people who are pregnant at the moment too! I feel like everybody is pregnant! lol
I hope you enjoy your honeymoon! I’ve never been to port douglas but have always wanted to go! I don’t think I’ll be jet setting anywhere any time soon though.

I can’t believe Christmas is so close already and I’m not even celebrating it early! Congrats on booking your honeymoon by the way! Even if you don’t think you can afford a long overseas trip it’s nice to at least be able to spend a few days together and relax after the whole lead up to the wedding. I’m sure you guys will have a great time! :)
