Another month and another round up of products I’ve been finishing! I am finding clearing out my collection super easy now that I’m going cruelty-free. I find I whizz through products and move onto another without chopping or changing like I was.

Maxfactor Facefinity Primer
This is an old favourite that I just always came back to because it is so basic and great at prolonging the wear of foundation. I absolutely hate the packaging, and all glass packaging for that matter, however I repurchased many times because of the quality of the primer inside. This is one of the products I’m super disappointed to let go of but if anyone has a primer recommendation that is CF let me know :)

Would I repurchase? No, not CF!

Jurlique Nutri-Define Night Cream (gifted)
When I received or bought Jurlique products I always knew that they were going to be amazing product. This night cream retails for a whopping $149ish but this is completely luxe and really gives your skin a huge boost of hydration. So much so I would 100% repurchase but Jurlique is not CF so I won’t be.

Would I repurchase? No, not CF.

Australis Ready Set Go Finishing Powder
Since switching from this bad boy to a Laura Mercier Powder I’m certain I will go back to this because you can’t seem to over-do it with this powder! It’s silky, finely milled and doesn’t leave a cakey layer on the skin if you’re a bit heavy handed (a huge plus for a rusher like me!).

Would I repurchase? Yes.

First Aid Beauty Gentle Body Wash (gifted)
Ok without getting too graphic this body wash had a very questionable colour and texture that made me feel a bit perverted when I used it… I’ll let your imagination do the rest. It was super gentle and no frills but if it was CF I wouldn’t repurchase because it was a little gross!

Would I repurchase? No, not CF and so weird.

Toni & Guy Rough Texturiser
This was a texturising spray that I bought many times because it is affordable, regularly on sale and way more accessible then others I like. I have a bit of a love hate with Toni & Guy products because I’m not overly keen on the scent but they quality is great especially for the price. This spray gave texture but also offered some hold which was appreciated!

Would I repurchase? No, not CF!

Fudge Detox Shampoo (gifted)
I’m a huge fan of the toning shampoo from fudge so I was keen to try out this clarifying option. It was super, super clarifying and had no moisturising element at all – this shit strips everything out of your hair. It sounds like I’m complaining about it but this shampoo had a firm place in my routine 1-2 times a month, generally after an event where lots of styling products had been used, and it was incredible to start over. Not something I’d use every single day but a great option if you need something clarifying!

Would I repurchase? Yes!

Ren Glyolactic Radiance Renewal Mask
If I wasn’t using Ultra solely at the moment I would have turned to Ren for a great skincare routine – seriously amazing products! I digress. This mask is a firm holy grail product in my routine and one I will repurchase once my skin is calmed down fully. It may not feel like it does much on application or even after removal but the next day your skin just look super fresh and glowy! Highly recommend.

Would I repurchase? Yes!

Matrix Miracle Extender Dry Shampoo (gifted)
I don’t really stick to a particular dry shampoo because it’s not a product I constantly use. I’m one of those in the minority who would rather wash their hair then load it up with dry shampoo. On the occasion I did use this I didn’t think it was overly powdery or intense but still absorbed oil.

Would I repurchase? No, not CF!

Kosmea Daily Facial Exfoliant (gifted)
Isaac actually used this one up not me but he seemed to enjoy how scrubby it was. Unfortunately I didn’t enjoy the super gritty texture. Neither of us loved the earthy scent of it either.

Would I repurchase? No.

Jurlique Herbal Recovery Foam Cleanser (gifted)
This is a cleanser I was sure I was going to really dislike but after two uses I was in love. It is foaming but it doesn’t strip the skin at all and it leaves the skin feeling really fresh.

Would I repurchase? No, not CF :(

For primer you should check out Cover FX. I’ve been loving their Blurring Primer- similar to Porefessional so it might not be what you need but I’ve been so impressed with the quality.
