BOOK CHATTER: GETTING BACK INTO READING

getting-back-into-readingTowards the end of 2014 I started to get the reading itch again so I’ve made a goal to read at least one book a month for this year. That won’t be hard.. Right?

Well regardless that’s my aim and hopefully I’ll be able to fulfil it pretty easily, maybe even read more than 12 books. I think it’s pretty achievable because I am fairly fast at reading. The problem I find is when do I stop working on More Than Adored and have some ‘me’ time. That’s the problem with being self-employed (part time!) you always feel like you have to be working because there isn’t such a thing as sick leave or holidays really. I digress.

As I did late last year each book will have it’s own ‘Book Chatter’ post so if you feel like reading along and then chatting about it with us at the end of the month I would absolutely love it! My February book of choice is ‘The Spotlight’ by Roxy Jacenko if you’re interested in coming along for the journey then please feel free. I would love it!

Here are the books I’m wanting to read for the remainder of the year:
– Not That Kind Of Girl by Lena Dunham
– Girl Boss by Amy Poehler
– Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me by Mindy Kaling
– Pretty Honest by Sali Hughes
– The Rumour Mill and Strictly Confidential by Roxy Jacenko
– Bossy Pants by Tina Key

I’d love to hear any of your suggestions of great reads to add to my list!

What are you reading at the moment?

Towards the end of last year, I also got into reading again. I don’t know what triggered it but I am glad to be back in my old habit of burying my face in a good book!x

Same! I don’t really know what triggered it either but I’m not complaining. I’m so glad to be back reading again. X

I’m also hoping to reach my goal of 1 book a month this year :) I’m currently reading Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn, although I’m keen on reading most of the titles on your list as well! xx
