Sisley Paris’ latest collection ‘Indian Summer’ is an inspired colour selection of purple, amethyst, silver and bronze with some gorgeous bright shades for the lips. Although not something I would team together each product in the collection really does compliment each other. Here are my thoughts on the collection.

Phyto-Touche Illuminator
This is such a unique product because it’s gel like in the pan but once on the skin it’s develops into a powder. I’ve never tried anything like it! It’s a really beautiful consistency to work with and with a few sweeps you’ve got that bronze-babe look. It’s not one to contour with and definitely reserved for when I’ve got a bit of tan on but the consistency is winner – one to swatch in store!

Sisley Phyto-Ombre Eclat in Ultra Violet
I’ll admit in the pan it’s underwhelming but on first swatch my jaw dropped. This shade is an intense, vibrant purple and used wet I can imagine it’d be incredibly intense on the lids! The formulation is faultless being creamy, blendable and pigmented however extremely easy to sheer down like I have above. I wouldn’t hesitate into looking into a Sisley eyeshadow palette in the future based on how great of quality this bad boy is.

Phyto-Kohl Star in Dark Amethyst
Okay now onto one of the products I’m not so convinced about so far. This is a kohl pencil that has some gorgeous glitter running through a deep purple shade. Sounds gorgeous, looks gorgeous in the pencil and when applied heavily it’s STUNNING. When applied lightly I find it can look a little strange because you don’t have the intense richness from the kohl. If you’re a fan of a smokey eye I’d say go for it but if you’re after something for a subtle look perhaps give this one a miss.

Phyto-Mascara Ultra Stretch in Deep Black
Another product that didn’t work for my personal taste. This mascara gives super fluttery lashes with a soft appearance and extra volume. It’s lovely but for me I really want some intense drama as my lashes are a feature I like to show off. Best for peeps who want something soft, fluttery and easy to work with.

Long Lasting Hydrating Lipstick in Rose Fuchsia
When they say long lasting they mean long lasting! Although extremely creamy and hydrating in texture once applied it really does not move. The intense fuchsia gives a glossy, vibrant colour to the lips whilst ensuring your lips don’t become flaky – and it really doesn’t. It is super creamy so not one for a dinner date!

Overall I really enjoy Sisley products and if you’ve been wondering what products to go for from the brand I recommend the eyeshadows, lip products and illuminating bronzer for sure! It’s a brand that is a little more pricey but in terms of quality you do get what you pay for with these products.
