This month there has been SO many new releases across both higher end and the pharmacy brands. Here is a round up of the best with links if I’ve done any reviews as well.
Revlon Ultra HD Lip Colours – review
These are an interesting one and a product that has been getting alot of hype in the beautiful community. Revlon’s take on the matte liquid lipstick trend is a little unique due to formulation. It’s very creamy and doesn’t set on the lips for 15 minutes or so but once they’re set they don’t feel insanely drying or cakey on the lips. This formulation is more comfortable than other offerings however it does mean they aren’t quite as long lasting
Ego QV Oil-Free Moisturiser
The QV line by Ego Skincare is one of my all time faves for great quality Australian made that is gentle on the skin. This particular moisturiser is oil-free and the consistency makes it so hydrating on the skin. If you’re after an affordable moisturiser that really gives the skin a hit of moisture without interrupting the wear of your make up throughout the day this one is for you.
Lush Cup O’Coffee Face & Body Mask – review
I’m not a coffee drinker but I love the smell of coffee so when I opened this product it was love. Scent put aside the actual product is amazing at really nourishing the skin but also giving you a decent exfoliation. I prefer to rinse this off in the shower just because it can become a little messy when you’re exfoliating the product off your skin but apart from that aspect it’s a great mask to use once a week.
Covergirl Outlast All-Day Primer
You guys know how much I sing the praises of the Maxfactor All Day Primer and this is pretty much an identical product for a fraction of the price. The packaging is basic however way more practical than the Maxfactor offering which comes in a bulky glass dispenser. It’s smoothing without being pore refining and works under every single foundation – win!
Kiehls Cilantro & Orange Extract Pollutant Masque – review
If your skin has been sore or dry and red lately this mask is a great new addition to the Kiehl’s line up. It’s super refreshing and really helps soothe the skin. I would recommend this for anyone with dry texture around the eyebrows and nose because it’s really helped those areas for me with twice weekly use.
Shanghai Suzy Romance & Strawberry Kisses – review & swatches
Say hello to the latest Shanghai Suzy collection! It’s incredible and you guys will love it. I sing the praises in the review, plus do a bunch of swatches, so pop over and check it out for all the details… You will probably end up buying a couple though be warned!
Lush Pink Peppermint Foot Cream – review
Congratulations to Lush for bringing an awesome foot cream to the mark that smells like peppermint without being that horrible fake peppermint. There isn’t too much to say about this apart from the texture of the cream isn’t heavy but it really helps to moisturise the area so it’s worth trying if your feet need some serious TLC.
Rimmel Kate 3-in-1 Palette
If you haven’t already got your hands on this palette from Rimmel it’s a must buy because it’s so handy. The bronzer colour isn’t too warm so you can get away doing some light contouring with it, the highlighter is actually beautiful and not chunky at all too. The blush is pretty standard but nothing crazy beautiful. I just think for the price you’d be crazy not to have this in your stash especially if on a day-to-day basis you do your make up on the go.
Jurlique Deluxe Edition Rosewater
The Jurlique Rosewater spritz is a product I don’t often talk about but it’s a really beautiful skincare item I use when I need something to help give my skin a boost. Every year Jurlique bring out this jumbo size that is limited addition but usually to lasts me until the following year. A fantastic, cult product that would be ace for all skin types.
Kiehls Turmeric & Cranberry Seed Energising Radiance Mask – review
Another new offerings from Kiehl’s in the face mask department and it’s equally as amazing. I find this one great for gentle exfoliation (way less abrasive then the Lush Coffee one!) and it leaves your skin feeling soft, supple and glowing. I would say I get similar results from this as I do from the Ren Gylcolactic Mask that I always raves about without the awkward scent and texture of that product.
Dermalogica Hydrablur Primer
I know I’m always ranting about how I don’t like the texture of mattifying or pore refining primers however this one is really fantastic! It does smooth out the skin without leaving that really silky finish on the skin that I don’t like. It’s the perfect balance between a hydrating primer, a mattifying primer and a smoothing primer. Dermalogica nailed it!
Essie Autumn Collection – review
The latest Autumn collection is a unique one but equally as amazing with the rich hues that I expect from a Autumn collection. Check out the linked review for swatches and a run down on the full collection.
A’Kin Dry Shampoo
A common compliant for me with dry shampoos is that they leave my hair feeling heavy and almost sticky throughout the roots. This particular one doesn’t do that all instead it does exactly what they claim on the tin. It absorbs oil, refreshes and there is no residue build up – win!
