Skincare treatments, especially night time ones, can really take your skincare routine to the next and amplify the results you see the next day. An amazing treatment is going to help treat whatever skin concern you maybe having and trust me when I say they are so worth investing in!

1.Medik8 Glow Oil
This is a luxe oil that really gets in and hydrates the skin. It has a blend of 12 essential oils that have been formulated together in order to help improve radiance, bright and restore the skin. It also is loaded with some serious Omega 3 and Omega 6’s which are amazing to repair the skin and protect it from environmental damage. For me this has been a go-to product when my skin is looking lack-lustre and I have some darker pigmentation hanging around from spots. I love Rosehip Oil but I find the results from this so much quicker therefore I have been favouring it. In the future I would only repurchase if I’m struggling with my skin again as at the moment it’s fairly clear.

2.Dermalogica Skin Soothing Hydrating Lotion
The Clear Start range is Dermalogica’s range for teenagers however I’ve continually repurchased products from the range because they are fantastic for troubled skin AND they’re that little bit cheaper than the other lines from Dermalogica. This is a real gem from the line that works well in conjunction with my other skincare products (alot being Dermalogica too!). It’s essentially a super lightweight hydrating lotion that is designed to balance out oil production, take down any inflammation in the skin and calm are sore areas. It’s formulated with gentle botanicals like Ginger, Tea Tree Oil and Orange to ensure it’s super gentle. It really does take down any inflammation so noticeably overnight I couldn’t believe it however I find this a little drying so I would recommend layering it with your regular night time moisturiser.

3. Kiehl’s Nightly Refining Micro-Peel Concentrate
I keep banging on about this stuff but the new release is fast become a holy grail product in my routine for exfoliating, brightening and smoothing out the skin. It’s formulated with quinoa husk extract and is designed to help accelerate the skin cell turnover so therefore will help brighten the skin. I cannot sing the praises of this product enough and can’t actually find a fault. Application is easy, it dries quickly on the skin and really does make a huge difference overnight. If you’re looking for a new exfoliating/renewing/amaze-balls product this is the one!

4.Skinstitut Hydrating Mask
If you have dry or dehydrated skin a hydrating mask can make all the difference! Although the directions say to leave this on for 10 minutes I opt for leaving it on overnight just because I find doing that once-twice a week my skin stays hydrated BUT only do this after testing out the product for yourself. The texture is a little tacky on the skin (unlike my usual Dermalogica option) so it’s one to apply 10 minutes before bed so it dries down a little. The main ingredients are hylauronic acid and botanical butter which really help nourish the skin. I find when I leave it on overnight everything just looks radiant, smooth and plump in the morning!

I love overnight treatments! I havenn’t actually tried any of these but I adore the REN Wake Wonderful Overnight Facial and I also really like using a hydrating mask overnight instead of a nighttime moisturiser because they just pack a little extra punch. I also really enjoy the Alpha-H Liquid Gold and also lately the Liquid Gold Radiance with ferulic acid in it as well. I tend to focus on hydration and antioxidants in my morning skincare routine but am happy to use acids, oils and retinol overnight so that’s where the fun really starts. :)
