4 AFFORDABLE MAKE UP PRODUCTS TO CONSIDER

Lately I’ve noticed that a bunch of my everyday make up products are more affordable and there are some real gems on rotation. Don’t be fooled by the price tag there are some real fab products out at the moment.

Pout Cosmetic Lipsticks
I won’t bang on about these because I spoke about them in this post reviewing a few different colours. It’s not often you find an affordable brand with such a huge colour range and the formulation is one I took a little too get used to but really enjoy now. They’re super long lasting, pigmented and I really enjoy the way they feel on the lips throughout the day. Check out the review I did earlier this year for all the info.

L’oreal False Lash Superstar Mascara
The whole extension mascara I didn’t love when it did the rounds however this one (from what I’ve read and can tell) doesn’t contain the fibres. Instead the step 1 is a white mascara that build volume and primes the lashes before you go in with the regular black side. I don’t know if I love it more than say a regular volumising mascara because I naturally have pretty long lashes BUT if you need all the help you can get this one is seriously good.

Chi Chi Stay All Day Lipliner
I’ve spoken about these many times before but I don’t think I own a better formulation when it comes to lip liners. These are so beautiful and really make applying lipstick a dream. They don’t pull on the lips but have a matte finish meaning that they are super long-lasting. The colour range is great and the best part is the packaging features a retractable winder instead of having to sharpen them – yes!!

Antipodes Loose Translucent Powder
The New Zealand brand is mainly known for their skincare however when this showed up on my doorstep I was intrigued to see how it went. Generally I find brands that attempt make up when they’re super good at skincare it can go not so well and vice versa but this is my everyday setting powder. It’s very finely milled and once applied it does mattify slightly but doesn’t look cakey or disturb the make up beneath it. It doesn’t control oils amazingly throughout the day but it touches up well so that’s something I can look past.

Have you tried any of these products? What were your thoughts?
