THE WEEKLY NOTES: A BREAK, 2015 REFLECTION & 8 POSTS I’M SUPER PROUD OFF

Today is the last day you’ll see content from us until next Monday and I thought about uploading just a regular post but I wanted to have a chat about this year to round up what a rollercoaster it’s been.

As you may have heard I’m taking a little bit of time off over Christmas and New Years to read all the magazines I buy but only take photos on, watch KUWTK’s without feeling guilty because I’m not replying to emails and of course spend some quality time with my family. It’ll be the first extended break I take from this space since deferring my degree in the middle of 2014 - how crazy is that?! Posts will cease until Monday the 28th but then we’ll start back up with my top fave products for 2015 series and I’ll officially be back to normal hours on the 4th of January. I’m so excited for a guilt-free break! You’ll still find me on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook but perhaps a little quieter then usual :)

This year has seen this space grow steadily and although there isn’t any way I can give up my other job and do this full time yet - I’m so bloody proud of the past 12 months. I’ve seen sponsorship deals come my way and some I’ve been so excited for whereas others I’ve turned down because no matter the monetary gain anything I feel a little weird/funny about I couldn’t possible do. I’ve reached milestones like 10k Instagram followers and welcomed team members into the MTA writer family - such a talented group of people (also if you’re interested in writing for MTA please feel free to get in touch here). I’ve finally found a vision for this space and decided on another extra project I’ll be working towards in 2016.

And then there is YOU. Well don’t even get me started on you… You have enabled me to grow and do something I love part time. You have found the time to visit our space on the internet and found interest in what I create. You are amazing!

A huge THANK YOU to all of you that read, comment, like, subscribe and just generally support this place on the internet. I feel absolutely blessed to have such a gorgeous community of people here!

Now I thought I’d wrap up this post by sharing 10 posts that have been created here that I’m super proud of. Some are by me but others are by the talented writers who have contributed to this space:

I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year… Bring on 2016!
