The last post in the little round up for the year is a bit of a mash up of nails, tools and scents. It may seem a little strange but they’re all things I wanted to chat about but I didn’t want to do a whole post on nails or tools… You guys know what I mean! I hope everyone’s NYE was fun and you’re all not to sick today.
Have you seen my top 5 hair discoveries, my top 6 picks for skin, my top 12 make up picks OR my top body product loves yet? They’re all pretty ace!
Jo Malone Mimosa & Cardomom Cologne
This year I discovered the amazing colognes from Jo Malone and I absolutely love this one in particular. I don’t want to try and describe it but here we go. It’s very warm, spicy but nothing overpowering. I swear it wears smelling like donuts but nobody else thinks so. It’s strong so one spritz is enough and it’s pretty much just a gorgeous scent everyone should try!
Viktor and Rolf Bon Bon
Another scent that released this year and I can’t get enough of is the Bon Bon by V&R. It has to be the scent I get the most compliments about. It’s sweet without being overly sweet and this one lasts like a dream. I don’t think that I’ve ever had a perfume that lasts so long on my skin.
Zoeva Vegan Face Brush Set
I’ve done a full review on my set from Zoeva but I can definitely see what all the fuss was about online. There isn’t a particular brush that I adore but just generally the quality of them is incredible. They wash well, feel super soft and don’t shed very much at all. The range is absolutely insane so if you can find something from them you’re crazy. The range is now stocked on Sephora as well!
Real Technique Bold Metals
A line that launched this year was from an old favourite being the Real Techniques line. It’s their more luxurious options featuring gorgeous gold, silver and copper brushes. I only have the powder brush but it’s easily the best quality brush I personally own. It’s super soft and just incredible quality. Although pricey I think they’re worth it and would make a great gift for a beauty lover.
The nail bits I’m going to mention are the Sally Hansen Miracle Gel and the Revlon Nail File but after shooting this post I realised that these are actually bits I’ve been using for at least 2 years so they’re not actually new discoveries. Still… Both are absolute staples though :P

I love that you think the Jo Malone perfume smells like donuts, now I have to go out and smell that scent to see for myself!

Let me know what you think! I really love it :D
I love smelling V&R Bon Bon whenever I pass a department store that has it! It’s a little out of my price range right now (I gotta have a big bottle or nothing at all!) but I will one day have it in my collection! :D

I’m a bit the same when I buy perfume! Go big or don’t worry about it :P it’ll be worth the wait! xx
I didn’t LOVE the Bold Metals Collection..Nice but not worth the money..i find the classic RT brushes better..i am actually blowen away by the MORPHE brushes quality..each to his own of course…
I really love the powder brush… As I said I’m only talking from my experience from that one.. I’ve never tried Morphe brushes but they have been highly regarded by so many people. Glad you enjoyed them too :)
The only thing I’ve tried is the Bold Metals collection. So soft and beautiful! xx

Glad I’m not the only one who loves it! xx
I really really want to try Bon Bon! I have a few perfumes that I’m almost finished so once I get through them I will definitely be purchasing this one.
